Class fee includes all materials and firing in the kiln. Completed pieces will be fired in the kiln and are available for you to pick up the following week.
You will learn how to cut and design your art with the glass pieces that you’ll be provided with. You can create your own versions of the class projects using the available colours of glass provided. You will also learn a bit about the process of glass fusing in the kiln which includes what the difference are between the different levels of fusing for texture.
Firings for your finished pieces and the use of all tools are included, but you are welcome to bring any hand tools you may already have on hand.
Wear comfortable clothing, but DO NOT wear open-toed shoes, flip-flops or sandals.
Participants must be at least 16 years old to participate in classes.
All students will be required to sign a Waiver of Liability Form and follow all safety procedures. Students under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign the waiver form.
Location: 467 Humphries Road, RR5 Renfrew (from Hwy 17 to Castleford Road to Humphries Road; or directly to Humphries Road off the River Road at the Bonnechere River bridge)
Private Group Classes: In addition to the classes that are currently scheduled you can also arrange to have your own private group class on a date that works for everyone.
Payment must be made in order to guarantee your seat in the class.
